Hello Community!

Let’s have some fun, make new friends and see what we can achieve if we all pull together and make this happen! We’re working hard to bring this event to life, and it’s all thanks to the community. This is a grassroots, non-hierarchical project, and we need every queer community member’s support to make it a reality.

In a world dominated by late-stage capitalism and gentrification, small events and underground spaces are under threat. Together, we can protect and nurture places where queer culture thrives. This is not just an event—it’s a private gathering, and your involvement is key to safeguarding it.

FAQs?

What’s at Camp Kindred?

Expect music, performances, workshops, wellbeing activities, games, karaoke, poetry, fire pits, and a queer cinema/gaming tent. After 11pm, enjoy a silent disco. Local queer businesses will offer services like sauna boxes, screen printing, tarot, massage, and catering. The music lineup will be diverse and local. Bring your own fun and start your own activities!

Who Can Come?

Camp Kindred is an 18+ queer community gathering. Allies are welcome, but must respect the space and its etiquette. No pets or children allowed.

Dates and Times

Friday 4th July: Arrive from 1pm. Gate closes at 7pm.

Saturday/Sunday: Email or message for a gate greeting.

Monday 7th July: Depart by 11am.

No day tickets; please commit to the full experience to avoid disruption.

How to Support/Attend

Contribute financially to secure your spot. We are a grassroots operation with 200 spots. 70% of these must be secured by 31st May to proceed. The minimum contribution is £100, and all funds go to making Camp Kindred happen.

Theme

This year’s theme is The Elements—Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. On Sunday, dress in line with the theme. Workshops will help create outfits for the People’s Catwalk at the closing ceremony.

Where is Camp Kindred?

Sussex UK - Location will be emailed a week before. It’s 30 minutes from Brighton UK by car, or a short taxi ride from the nearest train station.
